Silence creates space for us to decompress, reflect on our inner selves, and ponder the wonders of God. As the great-grandson of the Prophet (s), Imam Ali b. Musa al-Rida (‘a), taught:
“Of the signs of having profound insight are forbearance (al-ḥilm), knowledge (al-ʿilm), and silence (al-ṣamt). Silence is one of the doors of wisdom. Silence earns love and it is the guide to all good.”

Feel free to bring your prayer beads, Qur’ans, journals, books, quiet art projects, or nothing at all.
Take the time to center yourself and to contemplate upon your journey and ultimate ambition.
