The Workshop: Connecting with Husayn through our Own Pain and Poetry guides attendees to creation poetic compositions through imagery and strengthen their connection with Imam Husayn (‘a).
Kalyan Ali Balaven, also known as the spoken word and Hip-Hop artist Professor A.L.I. is also an educator who has been teaching history and literature, including poetry for over 2 decades. He currently is the Head of School at the Dunn School.
