Join us for a community conversation on one of the key issues in our society: food.

The way we think about and engage with food in relation to self-worth, culture, and community reflects some of our most basic values and assumptions. And the way we act in regard to food and the politics of food has the potential to transform our lives and the lives of others.

Schedule:

  • 10:00 am - Casual Brunch and Social

  • 11:00 am - Welcome and Panel Reflections

    • Nosheen Hayat (MPH, RDN, LDN) - On Material Diet Cultures and Holistic Wellness

    • Shamar Hemphill - On Justice, Nutrition Inequity, and Policy Interventions

    • Shaykh Trenton Carl - On Food, Morality, and Culture Building
