On the Path to Mercy III
The Month of Ramaḍān is a high point on the Muslim spiritual calendar; it is the “Month of God” and a month of Divine Mercy. Sacred Roots is excited to announce a series of three virtual gatherings where we will introduce a handful of best-practices to prepare for the upcoming season of spirituality.
We will also briefly review a selection of the basic legal (fiqhī) boundaries that guide us along the path of fasting.
For the fourth gathering, we will read Imam Zayn al-ʿĀbidīn’s Prayer to Welcome the Month of Ramaḍān in English and briefly reflect on the Imam’s teachings and how it orients us toward the Month of Fasting.
